In couples therapy, I work to increase a couple’s connectedness by identifying critical areas through the Gottman Relationship Checkup (c) assessment and addressing these critical areas to improve communication, conflict resolution, and move past gridlocked situations. Couples will learn how to communicate more effectively in a safe environment.
In individual therapy, I address issues such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. Individual therapy is not limited to pathologies, but is also a venue for people to work through some of life’s stressors.
Family therapy provides a safe place for families to work through emotional issues and behavioral issues while working within the system of the family.
I work with individuals and couples to help navigate sexual issues in a non judgemental atmosphere. Not only do we explore some of the physical aspects that may create sexual issues, but we also explore the psychological factors. In sex therapy we explore topics related to; gender identity, sexual orientation, erectile dysfunction, libido and orgasm gaps between partners, and education on how to increase sexual pleasure.
The goal is to provide a sex positive environment that promotes health, wellness, safety, and permission
